Commercial pop garden relies on ABCABCDC(A) composition structure, < 5 min song length, 4/4 drum pattern, voice dominated music (main voice at center pan and well above the music “background”), bass playing octave dominants, guitar and keyboard sounds palette. We start the album with songs IN the garden and a rather serene mood. Then we get more serious and finally we throw you OUT of the garden by breaking the above rules little by little.
